What fitness level do I need for your tours?
Our Discovery tours suit most fitness levels and require only basic walking ability. Adventure tours need moderate fitness with ability to hike 8-10 hours with breaks. Expedition tours require good fitness and previous multi-day hiking experience. We provide detailed fitness requirements for each tour during booking.
What equipment do I need to bring?
We provide all safety equipment including helmets, harnesses, and emergency gear. You'll need appropriate hiking boots, weather-appropriate clothing, and a day pack. We offer equipment rental for boots, backpacks, and technical clothing. A detailed packing list is provided upon booking.
Are your tours suitable for children?
Our Discovery coastal walks welcome children aged 12+ when accompanied by adults. Adventure and Expedition tours have minimum age requirements of 16 and 18 respectively due to physical demands and safety considerations. We can arrange family-friendly private tours for younger children.
What happens in bad weather?
Safety is our top priority. Tours may be modified or postponed for severe weather conditions. We monitor forecasts closely and contact participants 24 hours before departure with any changes. Alternative indoor activities or rescheduling options are always provided.
Do you provide food and drinks during tours?
All tours include water and light snacks. Adventure tours include a traditional Portuguese lunch. Expedition tours include all meals prepared by our guides. We accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies with advance notice during booking.
